Assistive Technology & Technology-Enabled Care Event

This event will bring Social Care and Support staff, providers, commissioners, and people with care and support needs together to share learning, explore practical examples, and strengthen how technology is used to support independence, prevention and reablement.

The session will include an Introduction to the event, two workshops and a marketplace to meet social care operational teams and AT/Tech suppliers, and include demonstrations.

The workshops will cover:

• Assistive Technology (AT) and Technology‑Enabled Care (TEC): Understanding when and how AT and TEC are used in practice, including eligibility, referral routes, and ordering equipment.
• AT / TEC Peer Group: Peer‑led discussion using real case examples to share learning and build confidence in using AT and TEC in practice. Before you arrive, please think about people who you work with where AT and TEC has been used, or could be used now or in the future, to contribute to the peer-led discussion.

Booking to attend the two workshops during your session will be made when you arrive on the day. You will be guaranteed a place to attend both workshops.

If you are a care provider or external organisation, please bring along any promotional material you wish to share with colleagues as you network during the marketplace.

There is a morning and afternoon session, you only need to book to attend one of them.
