Assisted living administrators manage, outline, and coordinate services geared toward older adults who may require assistance with eating, bathing, taking Medic*tion and other basic functions. In order to be eligible for this program, you must be a Certified Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA)
Assisted Living Administrators oversee the day-to-day operations of the assisted living facilities and ensure that all staff are providing the best service possible.
Personal Care Home Administrators must take a state-approved course, such as the Penn State Assisted Living Administrator 15-hour training (1.5 CEUs), and pass an exam in order to become certified as an Assisted Living Administrator.
