PILGRIMAGE TO ASSISI
SAINTS AND MASTERS - A path to the harmony of the sacred feminine and masculine energy and unity consciousness - in the footsteps of Saint Francis and Saint Clare
This pilgrimage is more than a visit to sacred places; it is a conscious journey of self-discovery — an invitation to walk the ancient paths of Assisi while simultaneously turning inward, reconnecting with your inner world and remembering your true essence.
Throughout our time together, I will share inspiring stories and lesser-known insights into the lives and teachings of St. Francis and St. Clare. We will visit the great Basilicas as well as more hidden, quieter sacred sites — places where the subtle energies of the land invite deeper attunement, presence, and inner listening.
While the pilgrimage naturally carries certain religious elements through the saints connection with the Church — the very institution Francis and Clare helped to reform in their time — our approach will be primarily spiritual rather than dogmatic. We will meet them as embodiments of awakened consciousness, as ascended masters whose lives continue to transmit profound wisdom and healing.
Alongside our outer journey, we will engage in gentle yet meaningful inner work. Through guided self-awareness practices, energetic attunement, and conscious connection with the land, you will be supported in returning to your own center.
We will explore the sacred balance of masculine and feminine energies, open into unity consciousness, and consciously integrate the blissful, soul-awakening frequencies that are so naturally present simply by being in Assisi.
No previous spiritual experience is required — only an open mind, a willing heart, and a curiosity to walk both the outer and inner path.
The pilgrimage is in small groups of maximum 7 persons plus me.
DATE: 11th Thu. - 16th Tue. June 2026.
PROGRAMME
DAY 1. (11. June Thu.)
Arrival to Assisi (everybody arranges it individually)
DAY 2. (12. June Fri.)
We dedicate this day to the masculine energy and Saint Francis. We will visit the most important sacred sights connected to him. We will climb the sacred mountain and visit the hermitage.
DAY 3. (13. June Sat.)
An approx. 2hrs trip by minibus to 2 sacred places outside of Assisi with the guidance of a member of the Franciscan order. We dedicate this day to the divine feminine and Saint Clare.
We will visit sacred places of her life.
DAY 4. (14. June Sun.)
A day dedicated to unity consciousness.
We will visit a special exhibition and then go for a hike into Saint Francis’s forest. After approx. 3-4pm free program until dinner.
DAY 5. (15. June Mon.)
We start with a gathering after breakfast (approx. 1,5hr) and then there is free program to enjoy the beautiful medieval town of Assisi. We finish the program with a dinner together.

Travelling home or you can stay longer if you wish
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
There will be a significant amount of walking, and Assisi is built on a hillside, which means plenty of steps and steep paths both up and down.
The hike up the sacred mountain to the hermitage takes nearly two hours and is very steep, with rocky terrain. Please only sign up if you feel physically prepared for these challenges. We will cover many miles throughout the pilgrimage.
PARTICIPATION FEE + ADDITIONAL COSTS
The participation fee of the pilgrimage for 6 days and 5 nights, sharing bedroom with one other person: EUR 940
If you want a bedroom on your own with a double bed, it is EUR1,100
Payment terms:
A non-refundable deposit when you sign up: EUR 150
Remaining participation fee, EUR 790 / EUR 950 depending on your choice of room type, by 7th May.
Anybody signing up after 7th May (if there is availability) full payment of EUR 940 or EUR 1,100 is required.
The participation fee includes the costs listed below:
- My fee as a tour guide, organiser and spiritual wayshower
- Accommodation for 5 nights
- Basic buffet style breakfast provided in the apartment
- Minibus trip to 2 sacred places with the guidance of a member of the Franciscan order
- Entrance fee to Frances’s Forest
- Local minibus transfers between sites during the pilgrimage
It does NOT include the costs listed below:
- Flights, trains and transfers* from airport or train station to Assisi
- Lunch and evening meals (Dinner approx. EUR15-30/dinner, Lunch min. 8-15EUR/lunch if eating out)
- Most sacred places have no entrance fees, but they expect donations. I leave it up to you if you would like to contribute.
I am happy to advise on transfers and routes if you fly to Rome or Perugia. From Rome you can take a train to Assisi (direct ones are approx. 2-2,5hrs)
*FYI:
- Bus transfer from Rome Airport to Rome Termini Train Station (one way) is approx. EUR 9-14 (45mins)
- Train from Rome to Assisi (one way) EUR 15 (2,5hrs)
- Bus transfer from Perugia airport to Assisi EUR 5
- Taxi transfer from Perugia airport to Assisi EUR 40-55
- Bus transfer from Assisi Train station to Assisi town EUR 2
COSTS IN DETAILS
FLIGHT:
Everybody needs to book their own flights depending on where they come from. You need to arrive to Assisi by the evening of the 11th June as we start in the morning on the 12th.
Nearest airport is Perugia with very limited flight options with Ryanair
Other option is flying to Rome. Take transfer bus (there are plenty of options) from Rome airport to Rome Termini train station (approx. 45mins) and take the train to Assisi. The direct trains are scarce and usually take 2hr20mins to Assisi. I can help you with train bookings, if that is the option you choose.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Please ensure that you have valid travel insurance for this trip, unless you already have coverage included with your bank card. All participants will be asked to sign a declaration confirming that they take full responsibility for their own actions and safety. I will, of course, make sure you are well informed of any potential risks or hazards throughout the journey.
ACCOMMODATION:
Depending on the group size there will be a two-bedroom apartment with a double bedroom for 1 person and a double + single bed bedroom for 2 persons. In the same complex an ensuite bedroom for 2 persons. Another two-bedroom apartment with one double bedroom for 1 person and a bedroom with a sofa bed for another person.
The accommodation is included in the participation fee, and it includes the local tax.
