About this Event
At this 1EdCity X No More Marking partnership event we will discuss how Comparative Judgement is being used to provide an innovative new way of assessing oracy, and what the initial results from the assessments tell us.
We will also discuss how to improve oracy, how to set oracy standards, and what the relationship is between literacy and oracy.
For those attending in person, there will be 30 minutes of networking and drinks when the event ends at 5pm.
This event will provide participants with:
- Improved understanding of how to assess oracy at primary and secondary
- Insights into the different facets of oracy and how teachers value them
- Strategies for improving oracy instruction
This is a hybrid event that will be held in person at 1EdCity and online.
