Workshop Description
Have you seen the fantastical assemblages around SCRAP? Now you can learn from the master who created them! Join us for this special assemblage workshop where SCRAP fave, Jake Ceniceros, will show you all his tips and tricks to utilizing the wackiest bits and bobs from the Depot. Subvert the expectations of conventional art and sculpture. This workshop will challenge artists to create inspiring work from the weirder and less utilized of reusable materials. You will gather your favorite found objects—whether they be rusted metal, discarded fabric, vintage trinkets, or nature's curiosities. Participants will be encouraged to approach creativity from an unconventional perspective and you’ll leave wanting to make much more. Nothing is sacred. Everything is permitted.
