Session Description:
Teaching children about consent, boundaries, and body language is essential for building healthy relationships and personal safety. This fun, interactive, and age-appropriate session introduces Kindergarten to Grade 3 students to these important topics in a way that aligns with the Alberta Wellness Education Framework.
Through this program, children will learn:
✅ What consent is and how to ask for it.
✅ The meaning of boundaries and how to respect them.
✅ How to recognize and communicate body language cues effectively.
This session is facilitated by The Dragonfly Centre, which provides educational programs to individuals, schools, and community groups across Alberta. Learn more about their work at The Dragonfly Centre’s website.
Important Information:
📚 Registration is open to classrooms and students in Alberta only.
✉️ Teachers must register using their school division email address.
