SYNOPSIS:

Anna and her husband Terumichi leave the city for a new life in Asamiya Village. Though they find the residents to be too nosy and too devoted to their community leader, they do their best to fit in to avoid being ostracized. However, the psychological pressure eventually turns physical.

In Japan, many urbanites are moving to the countryside for cheap real estate, but affordable living comes at a price.
