Meet living historian Daniel Sieh to explore the lives of Asians in the United States in the 1700’s and discover some of the under told stories of the American Revolution. Through documents, activities, and objects, Daniel shares how global trade connected the lives of sailors, soldiers, traders, and enslaved people from Asia as they navigated American society. Daniel J. Sieh Is a Living Historian with over 12 years of experience working with historical museums throughout the East Coast. Previously, Daniel has worked at Colonial Williamsburg and later on at Claudemoore Colonial Farm as a Public Historian. He graduated with a History degree from the College of William and Mary in 2016 and has a Master’s degree from American University.
