Chopsticks Alley Art created a convening place for Asian American Pacific Islander folks to connect with nature, make art, eat, and relax.Chopsticks Alley Art created Asian American Healing Convening as a safe place for us to meet to address mental health challenges we are facing.
We provide an intimate environment for us connect, share, and reclaim our powers through food, storytelling, meditation, and art. Our goal is to continue providing AAh Convening every quarter to stay connected with our Asian community and continue building community to better support each other. This is a safe space by and for the Asian community.
For this convening we will come together as a community to meditate, reflect on our journey this year, and look forward to a new beginning ahead. We will harness the five life forces: Earth, Wind/Air, Water, Fire, Silence/Void to incorporate more of nature's gifts into our daily comtemporary lives.
For this event, we are pleased to have Mindfulness Coach/Author/Dietitian Julianne Kanzaki as guest facilitator.

NOTE: Our goal with this gathering is to provide a safe space for those who have an Asian cultural background or identify as Asians only so that we may comfortably connect with others of similar backgrounds and discuss issues that are faced within the Asian community.
