This event, hosted by Trinity University and the ASIANetwork consortium, features:
- A Bollywood dance perfomance by the Trinity University troupe Top Naach
- A Chinese dance performance by the University of Houston student group Moonlit Petal: Grace Chu, Joyce Lai, Nuriia, Milli, Gabi, Mae and Melody Yunzi Li
Narration and discussion led by Prof. Melody Yunzi Li (University of Houston)
Following this, award-winning historian of Asian Americans, Prof. Madeline Y. Hsu, will deliver a talk entitled, "The Third World Strikes and Asian American Studies as an Institutional and Intellectual Project," followed by a conversation and Q&A moderated by Prof. Zach Smith (University of Central Arkansas).
