Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit 2026 heads to Kobe, Japan 🇯🇵We are proud to announce that the next Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit (APSS) will be held in Kobe, Japan, on 7 and 8 May 2026.
Japan is welcoming an increasing number of visiting yachts each year, supported by government initiatives, new marina developments, evolving regulations, and an expanding network of local service providers. While it has not traditionally been viewed as a yachting nation, Japan is home to more than 21,000 Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), highlighting its long-term potential as a superyacht destination.
“After two strong years in Hong Kong, it feels like the right time to move the APSS to Japan,” commented SuperYacht Times Founder, Merijn de Waard. “With more yachts visiting and strong local support, there is tremendous potential here and we’ve already felt a warm welcome from Mr. Sakamoto and his team.”
