Catch the SAF Central Band and the National Youth Winds at the Asia and Pacific Band Directors’ Association Gala Concert! The highlight of the evening is the world premiere of “Concerto for Wind Band” by Dr Kelly Tang, commissioned by the SAF Central Band and supported by the National Arts Council Cultural Medallion Fund.
Conducted by renowned composer Mr Yasuhide Ito and Senior Director of Music ME6 Philip Tng, the bands will also present an exciting programme that includes Ito’s “Gloriosa” and Alfred Reed’s “The Hounds of Spring.”
