Foundation (beginner's) courses cover the basics of Ashtanga yoga and are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who practice other types of yoga but would like to learn Ashtanga thoroughly from scratch. The course is open to everyone and requires no prior yoga experience, however, it is not recommended to begin with Ashtanga yoga during an ongoing pregnancy.The course runs for 8 weeks starting on Monday 26th January 2026 at 17:15. We begin with a short introduction to yoga philosophy followed by a gradual learning of the Sun Salutations, the standing asanas (postures) of the Ashtanga yoga primary series as well as some finishing postures.
Time and date: Mondays 17:15-18:45, 8 sessions starting on 26th January 2026 (we pause during the winter holidays, week 8)
