Join us at the MAC for a celebration of “green”: an album featuring quiet solo piano music performed by Ashlee Mack. All music on the album is by living composers and provides an atmosphere of serenity, intimacy, and elegance, with time for reflection. Take this opportunity to be in a distraction-free environment, suspend time, and feel less hurried. Meditate, mingle, walk around and check out the art on display, or just sit and listen. At 7pm, there will be a meditation workshop for any and all who are interested led by Chad Fess. Some meditation mats will be provided, or you can bring your own.
At 7:30pm, Ashlee will play music from the album and chat with everyone about the origins of the project. Music by Jeff Herriott, Ian Mikyska, Marti Epstein, and Eva-Maria Houben.
Treats, tea, and hot chocolate will be provided before, during, and after the event.
CDs will be available for purchase (Venmo or cash).
