Asheville Fusion Dance is a fusion dance initiative birthed out of a local, community-led desire to bring a sustainable, authentic, and connection-focused fusion scene back to the greater Asheville area. Come out and dance with us at Uphora Dance Studio in West Asheville, where a smooth sprung floor, a high-end sound system, and a great lighting set-up are ready to welcome you into a full night of connected dancing!
No matter if you are new to fusion dancing or if you are a seasoned dancer, Asheville Fusion Dance is so excited to welcome you to be a part of our community.

7pm-8pm - Lesson
Instructor: Hana Rakhshani
Lesson info: "Finding Flight" -- This is an hour-long class blending themes from contact improvisation and fusion dance. In this class, there will be a focus on clear somatic communication with dance partners, while exploring techniques support finding lightness and lifts. This workshop invites all levels and will be interesting for beginners and advanced dancers alike.
