Commute Friendly WNC is a new free program for businesses, workplaces, nonprofits, government offices, colleges and universities in the Land of Sky Region (Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, & Transylvania Counties). It's a certification program that recognizes and celebrates organizations that go the extra mile to promote ways of getting around our community that reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. (That means carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, biking, walking, and even remote work!)
Becoming a certified Commute Friendly Workplace or Campus unlocks a bundle of benefits and programming from Go Mountain Commuting.
