Join us for an evening of live music as Liz Womble makes her return to Ascension Coffee House on Friday, December 12th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Tonsmeire Hall at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension (205 w. Cherokee Ave., Cartersville).Liz grew up in the small southwest Georgia town of Blakely, where at a very young age she developed a love of music. A retired teacher and coach, Liz is currently a member of the Georgia Mountain Music Club, where she serves as program director and emcee. Liz recently won a songwriting contest sponsored by the Rome Music Collective. Her CD, Sometimes I Go Back, can be found on CD Baby, Amazon Music, YouTube, and Spotify.
Rick McKee will serve as musical host for the evening. Guests can enjoy complimentary sweets, coffee, and sodas. You're also welcome to bring your own dinner, snacks, and beverages to enjoy at your table.
Admission is free; however, cash donations are gratefully accepted to support the Clergy Discretionary Fund. We also encourage donations of baby supplies, and toiletry items for the Red Door Food Pantry, which serves our neighbors in need.
This is a community-wide listening room event, and all are welcome. Come enjoy great music while supporting meaningful local causes.
