The Asbury Park Concert Band will perform every Thursday evening in July and August at 7:00 PM at the Pryor Bandshell. The band offers varied musical selections from marches, classical, jazz, dixieland, opera, and big band to Broadway. These shows provide students from middle to high school age a chance to fine tune their skills and experience performing in a professional setting.The schedule is:
July 4 - Celebrate the 4th
July 11 - Broadway (Children's Concert)
July 18 - Time for Jazz
July 25 - Time to Dance (Children's Concert)
August 1 - Ladies Night
August 8 - Broadway Now
August 15 - Great Entertainers (Children's Concert)
August 22 - Music by the Numbers
August 29 - Salute to the Armed Services (Children's Concert)
