Background and Vision

The Vidovdan Horizon 2050 - Serbian Diaspora leadership Networking events, for the last 6 years, were intended to commemorate the Serbian national holiday and the legacy of Vidovdan, which in the mind of our people symbolizes our resilience as a people dedicated to unity, prosperity, and freedom. Vidovdan is now also the official Day of Serbian Diaspora, celebrating the lives and achievements of 3 million or more, Serbs living outside of the Motherland’s borders, whom we seek to unite in a common vision of solidarity and sustainability.

Vidovdan Horizon Happy Hour is an informal gathering of like-minded peers that provides a powerful think-tank and networking platform for leaders within the American Serbian Diaspora to assemble and focus discussions on three specific categories of interest:

1) Identity/Unity/ Prosperity

2) Leadership/ Long-term Social Impact

3) Relationship with the Motherland

We continue as an open, proactive dialog about the paradigm-shifting challenges we face in 2023 and beyond. As we, as people have various focuses and interests including cultural, social, artistic, entrepreneurial, political, etc. this networking event will explore the opportune courses of action to be jointly or individually developed and implemented in 2023 and beyond.

In the future, the plan is to organize a 4-5 VH 2050 per year to help coordinate our activities as we build a stronger and more influential Serbian Diaspora ecosystem over the next 30 years and establish a think-tank platform for future generations to sustain and grow. In order to achieve this, we must remain united, vigilant, and dedicated to advancement in the short and long term.

(American Serbian Association for Prosperity) is the US registered 501© 3 non-profit organization that serves the online and offline community of Serbian American Diaspora members living in the US. By organizing informal gatherings, business panels, art exhibitions, screenings, and charity events, A.S.A.P. creates an impactful dialogue with numerous members and interested parties. The organization aims to contribute to the economic, social, and cultural Serbian Diaspora ecosystem, thus strengthening the prosperity, unity, and sustainability of all Serbs, dispersed around the world, committed to the stability and the well-being of our Motherland - Serbia.
