This art-making project for all ages is inspired by a painting by the artist Alteronce Gumby. Gumby uses shards of tempered glass, gemstones, resins, and other unconventional materials to create abstract art. We’ll show you how to use neon paper, paint, and pencils, to create your own abstract composition that glows under UV light, just like Gumby’s painting “Freedom Only Known to Them in Whispers and Tales,” which you can see in our American galleries.
