Make this summer one to remember at River Bend Nature Center! Our week-long Summer Camps blend outdoor adventure, hands-on science, creativity, and wildlife discovery in a fun, supportive environment where kids can explore, experiment, and get a little messy, in the best way!Each week features a new theme, giving campers the chance to travel back in time with Dino Discoveries, mix and build in Mad Science Lab, search for tiny creatures during Insect Investigators, and meet the animals that skitter, fly, and crawl in Curious Critter Camp. Creative minds will love Artventure Camp, where nature becomes the inspiration for journals, eco-art, and outdoor masterpieces. Campers can also earn badges and learn outdoor skills in Nature Ranger, invent and problem-solve in Junior Engineers, blast off into the universe during Astro Adventurers, and become confident navigators in Pathfinders with maps, compasses, and scavenger-hunt challenges.
Designed for ages 4–11, our camps are the perfect mix of learning and play, packed with outdoor exploration, hands-on projects, and unforgettable nature moments!
Camp Details
Artventure Camp! | June 29th–July 3rd
Let creativity bloom in the great outdoors!
Campers will explore the beauty of nature while creating their own masterpieces. They’ll gather inspiration from leaves, flowers, insects, and landscapes as they paint, sketch, sculpt, and craft with traditional supplies and natural materials. From nature journaling to eco-art projects, each day blends creativity, exploration, and hands-on fun.
Ages: 4–11
Cost: $100 for RBNC Members / $110 for Non-Member
