New York City’s, artists, educators, activists, and philanthropists will connect and celebrate ArtsConnection, NYC-based legacy arts education organization serving NYC youth (K-12 grade) since 1979 at Golden Hour: The ArtsConnection Masquerade on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, from 6:00 - 10:30 pm at Prince George Ballroom, 14 East 28th Street (bet. Fifth & Madison Avenues), NYC.
The spring benefit will be an evening to celebrate the vibrancy of NYC culture, hosted by Harold Ford, Jr., PNC Bank’s Regional President for NY, pundit, author, and former U.S. Congressman, with live performances by: West Village Quartet, Mexico Beyond Mariachi, DJ Ty-Michelle; interactive art activations by: contour artist Ian Sklarsky, live drawing by ArtsConnection alumna Gabrielle Vazquez, puppeteers Lake Simons and Nehprii Amenii, circus artist Laine Barton, and performances by New York Chinese Cultural Center.
Proceeds from Golden Hour will support the 47-year-old organization’s arts education programming, which improves academic performance for public school students, transforms teaching practices to create engaging learning environments in schools, and advances teens' creative expression and knowledge of creative career pathways.
