This event is one of Orillia's gems. Since 1983, Arts for Peace is an annual afternoon gathering on the shores of Lake Couchiching, featuring musical and artistic activities that celebrate a peaceful approach to life and community.Adults and children of all ages enjoy bubbles, crafts, willow garlands, clay creations, painting, knitting, kids' yoga, Tai Chi, storytelling, drumming, singing, live music, circle dancing, and more.
There is no cost to attend the festival. It is organized and delivered thanks to the efforts of many community volunteers. and we are hopeful to receive a grant from the City of Orillia to help minimize event costs.
