About this Event
Over the past 2 years, 18 cities and towns across the United States have been participating in a bold national campaign, Arts for EveryBody (AFEB), rooted in the research-based evidence that participation in the arts leads to healthier people and healthier communities.
On July 27, 2024, each site in the AFEB cohort presented highly visible, participatory public art projects designed to strengthen community wellbeing. These projects were the product of collaborations across the arts, health, and municipal sectors in communities with vastly different economic, social, racial, and geographic experiences.
The Arts for EveryBody Capstone Convening in Dallas, TX is an action-oriented learning and networking opportunity for practitioners, leaders, and funders in the health, municipal, and arts sectors. The Capstone Convening will feature storytelling, panel discussions, breakout workshops, and of course, artistic expression in its many forms.
Programming will begin in the evening on Thursday, February 6 and continue through the evening of Friday, February 7, 2025.
