About this Event
In this session we will work through the Arts Award activity book created by Grimm & Co featuring multiple arts-based and literacy activities. We will explore the Emporium Apothecary and Feastery space and discover hidden facts, seek out new perspectives and write about various curious objects as we work through the prompts in the booklet.
Grimm & Co are partners of the Arts Award scheme linked with Trinity College London and we are running an entry level session 'Discover' where participants from 5 years old can earn an accredited qualification with Trinity College through arts-based creativity, exploration and learning.
Participants need to complete at least three of the activities thoroughly to earn their Arts Award, they must include exploring the variety of arts found in Grimm & Co, learning about an artist and at least one other activity of their choice.
Session lasts approximately 1.5 hours, please allow for additional time if your child/young person wishes to complete more of the booklet before submission. Booklets are retained by the participant after moderation by session host. Moderation should take 5-10 minutes per participant and, where required, the young person may need to add additional information to fully complete the required areas to be awarded the certificate.
Arts Award certificates will be ordered on the day, but can take up to 4 weeks to be delivered to Grimm & Co, collection will need to be arranged from Grimm & Co after this date, or can be posted to a home address for an additional fee.

Session run time: approx 1.5 hours
Certification: once completed on the day, details will be shared with Trinity College London for awarding, and sent to Grimm & Co to collect
