Bridget Seaton’s solo exhibition of paintings and original prints depicts her firsthand experiences of the South West’s woodlands, coastal habitats, wetlands and forests. The work addresses the fluctuating state of the bush in its’ constant state of renewal and decay. A celebration of the resilience of our natural environment through expressive colour and mark making.Bridget offers an insight into how her firsthand observations in the bush assist her to work from memory in the studio. A chance to see her sketchbooks and learn about her processes of mark making and layering.
