Art Source Gallery invites you to join us for the opening reception of “Artistic Evolution,” a featured exhibition of new work by Boise artist Russ Garn.Working primarily in pen and ink with watercolor, Garn combines precise architectural drawing with bold abstraction in a style he calls Pop Art Cubism. His work reflects a lifelong exploration of creativity, shaped by a background in graphic arts, visual communications, and architectural rendering.
Inspired by the world around him, Garn’s compositions balance structure and imagination. Intricate line work, layered shapes, and vibrant color invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and discover something new each time they engage with the piece.
For Garn, art is more than an image on a wall. “Art is the glue that holds society together,” he says, and sharing his work is a way to express ideas, spark conversation, and connect with others.
Join us on First Thursday to meet the artist, explore his latest work, and experience this engaging new exhibition.
