Artist Workshop at the Polar Museum: Getting Creative with Geology

The Polar Museum is pleased to be hosting Through Ice and Fire artist Rowan Huntley for an art workshop using mixed media materials to create a 3D sculpture.

In Rowan's words:

"This is a hands-on art workshop in which you will learn to look at things differently whilst creating a three dimensional, tile-sized decorative piece to take home. Using geological material, metal mesh and wire, held together by something gooey, this workshop will open your mind to what is possible when expectation is suspended and exploration is embraced.

Bring an apron - it could get messy!"
