Artist Trading Card Swap

oin us for an Artist Trading Card (ATC) swap! ATCs are miniature works of art made on 2.5x3.5 inch cards that are meant to be traded, swapped, or given away. Artist Trading Cards at Merry Pin are available for purchase here (regular paper) and here (watercolor paper).

Everyone is welcome.

This swap's theme is JOY. You can interpret this however you wish—something that brings you joy, a representation of what joy looks like to you...let imagination be your guide!

Requirements:

• Make at least 5 cards — 4 to swap and one to keep for yourself (if you need blank artist trading cards, we have those available for sale here). You may do more if you wish, up to 10 cards.
• Your cards can be any style of art – mixed media, painting, watercolor, collage, fiber, drawing, charcoal, embroidery, etc. They can be done vertically or horizontally.
• Your cards can be one-offs (each card is unique), a series (five cards that share one theme), or editions (two or more cards that were created to look the same).
• On the back of each card, you must write: 1) your name, 2) date card was created, and 3) your city of residence (required). If you created a series or a set of card editions, please number them (i.e., 1 of 4). Optional additions: Instagram handle, title of your artwork.

How The Swap Works:

• Each participant will bring at least 4 cards to swap (you may bring more).
• Participants sign in at the swap with their name and number of cards, and put their cards on display on the table.
• The names will then go into a drawing. Each participant will pick three cards at a time when their name is called until they have picked the number of cards they brought (ex: if you bring four cards, you will pick three cards the first drawing and one card the next time your name is drawn).
