Quire will discuss her artistic explorations around our connection with, and divorce from, nature.
The talk will provide insights into her process and how she works to invite the viewer to learn about the plants in her work, to discover their gifts, resilience and wisdom, while pondering our choices as a society and where they have led us.
The talk will start at 2pm at the Imperfecta Gallery, located at 809 NW Flanders st in Portland's Pearl District.
