Visiting artist Oscar Moya will discuss his “Maquila Blues” series inspired by his experience working for 18 years in a Maquila warehouse (foreign-owned factory) in Santa Teresa, NM, and by the 2006 documentary film Maquilapolis by Vicky Funari and Sergio De La Torre. Moya’s art is featured in Icons & Symbols of the Borderland. Included with admission; free for members.
