Photographer David Kilabuk will present an artist talk sharing his work through which he captures the immense beauty of Inuit Nunangat as well as the wildlife, vegetation, and wonderful people of Panniqtuuq (Pangnirtung, NU). Guided by lessons from his father who studied the skies for hunting and taught him to read the weather, light, and shifting patterns of the season, David’s photographs capture life in step with the rhythms of land, weather, and time.Location: Canadian Canoe Museum, Gathering Room
This event is free to attend and open to the public. No registration required.
Attendees will have an opportunity to visit the Canoe Museum’s exhibitions after the talk.
