Artist Spotlight: Pyrography with Rebekah Flores

Join us for an intimate, hands-on woodburning workshop led by local artist Rebekah Flores. Create a custom bookmark and take home your own wood-burning tool.
The Pearl Center for Creative Arts, in collaboration with Evergreen Events, is proud to present this installment of our first (of many) Artist "Spotlight Series," featuring local artists, authors, and creatives in meaningful, small-group experiences.
Join us for an intimate Artist Spotlight Workshop with Rebekah Flores, a skilled pyrography artist and active member of the local artist guild community.
In this hands-on class, participants will:
• Learn the fundamentals of woodburning (pyrography)
• Create a custom wooden bookmark
• Take home their own woodburning tool
• Enjoy creative conversation in a welcoming outdoor setting
This workshop is intentionally limited participants to ensure personalized guidance and a relaxed, community-centered atmosphere.
Rebekah will also bring a small curated display of her artwork available for viewing and purchase during the class.

Your registration covers all materials, including your wood burning tool and wood book mark, and supports the teaching artist and ongoing programming through Pearl Center for Creative Arts, a nonprofit 501(c)3 cultural arts center based in Murrieta, California and home to the Murrieta Train Project.
Who Should Attend
Recommended for adults and teens comfortable working with heated tools. No prior experience necessary.
