“Udaan: Stories That Rise” by Dr. Hyacinth Paul explores themes of resilience, hope and transformation through layered fabrics and imagery. A reception is planned for 2–4 p.m. Saturday, June 13.Through sculpture, painting and immersive installation, the works reflect the many ways human lives unfold—rooted in memory yet always reaching toward new horizons.
The word Udaan, meaning “flight,” becomes a metaphor for the courage to rise above limitations and carry one’s story forward.
