Join us in Art Alley to meet, Lumi, the first of three artists awarded a “Conversation Ignitor” mural in Rapid City’s iconic Art Alley. Although she isn’t a traditional landscape artist, nature has always been a prominent force in Lumi’s life. Lumi strives to depict her connection and appreciation for nature within her art in a non-traditional way, hoping to inspire and relate to those that understand the laws of the universe as well as those who respect the planet and their bodies equally. Lumi’s goal is creating connection because, “the planets, the mountains, the people...we’re all connected.” Check out her mural and meet the Black Hills artist on June 2 in Art Alley from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
