Artist as Changemaker: Creative Process Celebration

Join us to celebrate the 2025-2026 Artist as Changemaker cohort and the work they have been doing at the intersection of artistic practice and social change.

The Artist as Changemaker Residency brings together artists and community partner organizations to explore how creative process can be a vehicle for social transformation. This evening is an opportunity to get close to that work, hear directly from the artists, and connect with others who believe in the power of arts and culture to shift what is possible in our communities.

The evening will include artist sharebacks, a sofa chat with cohort members, dinner, and plenty of space for conversation. Come curious. Come ready to connect.

This event is open to artists, community members, organizers, funders, and anyone interested in art for social change in Calgary.
