Together with your instructor, you’ll explore the science behind gelato making: from heating and stabilizing the base to churning, folding, and finishing each batch with artisan precision.
Working step-by-step, you'll prepare a silky Fiordilatte Gelato, the foundation of many Italian flavours, and transform part of that base into Stracciatella Gelato - studded with delicate pieces of dark chocolate. You’ll also craft two warm sauces: a luscious chocolate sauce and a buttery caramel sauce, perfect for drizzling over your freshly churned creations.
This workshop focuses on building essential gelato-making skills: understanding emulsification, temperature control, flavour infusion, and the distinctive low-air churning technique that gives gelato its signature density.
You’ll finish by tasting, garnishing, and presenting your gelato like a true Italian gelatiere, enjoying a sweet experience that is equal parts culinary craft and indulgence.
