This PD will introduce teachers to the new 'JBS STEM Boxes' and how they can be used to bring real-world industry applications into the classroom. Through a series of interactive demonstrations, teachers will explore how technologies like AI, robotics, automation, and energy systems are used in modern manufacturing and food production - far beyond what students typically expect from the industry.- Explore a suite of 8 interactive STEM Boxes, each showcasing a different technology including AI vision systems, pneumatics, VR, automation (PLC), and collaborative robotics
- Build teacher confidence in delivering hands-on, industry-linked STEM learning experiences
- Unpack how these technologies are applied in real-world contexts such as quality assurance, sustainability, training, and advanced manufacturing
- Provide practical ideas and supporting resources for integrating these experiences into your own classroom
