Artichoke School Teachers Showcase, featuring Megan Cronin, Kyle Keilman, Tracey Rose Brown, Annie Sea, Steve Cheeseborough, Anne Weiss
The Artichoke School of Music offers classes in a variety of instruments, styles of music, and songwriting. This showcase performance features a selection of our instructors, who will share examples of their artistry and what they teach in their classes. Come learn about different instruments and explore a variety of next steps you might take in your own musical journey!
Megan Cronin Tucker teaches violin, viola, ukulele, guitar, voice and songwriting. She says, “There is no end goal with music, we are always learning. Whatever level a student is at, they are part of a wonderful and enriching music community. I try to foster this community among my students the best I can.” https://www.megancroninmusic.com
Kyle Keilman has been playing, performing live and recording harmonica for over 50 years. As a teacher, he comes to us from California where we taught with Family Light and most recently The Magic Flute.
Anne Weiss has been performing and teaching world music, voice, guitar, piano, ukulele, and songwriting for over 30 years. She is known for her enthusiasm, welcome, and skill in helping her students move forward on their own musical path. https://anneweiss.com
Annie Sea sings socially conscious acoustic soul anthems to energize and empower her audience. Whether she is leading a band or weaving a solo live looped soundscape, her velvet voice and lively melodies deliver compelling stories of transformation. https://annieseamusic.com
Steve Cheseborough re-creates the blues, hokum and ragtime of the 1920s-30s, interspersing the songs with stories, history and humor. Tracey Rose Brown has performed as feature harpist everywhere from the National Ice Dance Theatre of Canada to cruise ships. Her musical offerings as a teacher are harp fundamentals with a student centered approach that can be applied to most musical styles.
