Originally from Glasgow, Jay Anderson studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee before moving to Kirkcaldy to begin a career as a floorcovering designer with Nairn Floors. A later role as a children’s wear designer at Babygro continued Jay’s creative path, and Kirkcaldy has remained home ever since.Now working under the name artfulcrocheter, Jay brings that same eye for colour, pattern, and texture to a broad range of crochet work — from boho-inspired bags to intricate king-size mandala throws. Each piece reflects a lifelong love of design and the joy of transforming yarn into something beautiful and lasting. Jay hopes her love of contemporary pattern, colour, and texture resonates and brings you joy.
