Experience Central Park in NYC like never before! Join Debbie Wells of Artful Buzz and artist/photographer/teacher Howard Rose for a stroll through Central Park on Saturday, April 27. It's all outdoors and on-site for a educational and entertaining time to hear stories about the sculptures, architecture and more in the park, while capturing its beauty through photography!

As the group walks together, Debbie Wells will provide original commentary on the artists and patrons who made Central Park the most visited urban park in the US! Learn about the design concept of Olmstead & Vaux in the mid 19th century to create a surprisingly artificial landscape custom-designed for public use, not always natural or untouched by man.

At every stop, Howard Rose will give instruction on how to take high-quality photographs with your iPhone (or android phone) by using the best settings, apps and techniques for composition, lighting, cropping, focus, and color. We will even schedule a virtual critique to see our artful results from the day.

Meet at the Pulitzer Fountain by the Plaza Hotel and then together, we will walk to the park entrance on Fifth Avenue and see the park's many artful sites, including the Delacorte Clock, Literary Walk, Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, and more. We will also introduce a 2020 addition, the Women's Rights Pioneers Monument, Central Park's first statue to depict real women of history! For more details and registration by mail info, contact Debbie Wells at [email protected] or 516-819-2240.
