ARTFUL BUZZ: IN-PERSON TOUR OF A SOLO EXHIBITION IN A CORPORATE OFFICE

Let Debbie Wells and artist Cassi Paguio, be your guides for an in-person art experience you won't forget! We have exclusive access to the offices of Evercore, a finanicial corporation, located in midtown Manhattan.
Not only will we see artwork on display from their collection of renowned artists, they are also featuring an amazing solo exhibition of a young artist, Cassi Paguio, who is sure to be a star! As an artist and rescue scuba diver raised in the Philippines, she has always been fascinated with the sea. Cassi reconstructs her ocean encounters into vivid portraits and seascapes that act as a window to marine life and unique environment that only a someone with an eye for beauty, love for our planet and the keen eye of a diver.
A stroll past her exhibition entitled Currents of Elsewherefeels like she is taking you on an adventure to celebrate the ocean as a living community - with a presence of many things at once, including movement, light, scale and depth, mystery, color and texture and its special brand of vitality. Her paintings and mixed media works invite the viewer to experience this ecosystem that Cassi holds dear so that the sea can be celebrated as a space that is vibrant and alive with wonder. She will explain her creative process and more in a lively small-group conversation.
