Arte Desobediente es una exposición colectiva multidisciplinaria y un gran encuentro cultural dedicado a todas las artes. Más que una muestra tradicional, este evento será una experiencia viva donde la comunidad podrá disfrutar y compartir distintas formas de creación artística en un mismo espacio.Durante esta jornada se presentarán obras de arte en múltiples formatos: pintura, dibujo, fotografía, instalaciones, videoarte y proyectos audiovisuales. Al mismo tiempo, el evento se transformará en un espacio dinámico donde el arte sucede en vivo: habrá concierto de jazz, tatuajes en vivo, performance, pintura colectiva, música, poesía y experiencias sensoriales.
También será un espacio para el bienestar y la conexión comunitaria, con té artesanal, jabones naturales, yoga, mesas de intercambio y momentos para compartir como comunidad. Arte Desobediente busca reunir a artistas y público en un ambiente abierto, creativo y accesible, donde cada persona pueda encontrar una forma de conectar con el arte.
Este evento se realizará en Casa Latina y está pensado como una celebración de la creatividad, la identidad y la fuerza de la comunidad migrante en Louisville. Será una noche dedicada al arte en todas sus formas: para ver, escuchar, sentir y vivir juntos.
Disobedient Art is a multidisciplinary collective exhibition and a large cultural gathering dedicated to all forms of art. More than a traditional exhibition, this event will be a living experience where the community can enjoy and share different artistic practices in the same space.
Throughout the evening, visitors will experience artwork in multiple formats, including painting, drawing, photography, installations, video art, and audiovisual projects. At the same time, the space will become a dynamic artistic environment where art happens live: there will be a jazz concert, live tattoo sessions, performances, collective painting, music, poetry, and sensory experiences.
The event will also offer spaces for wellness and community connection, including handmade teas, natural soaps, yoga, community tables, and opportunities to connect with others. Disobedient Art aims to bring together artists and audiences in an open, creative, and welcoming environment where everyone can find a way to connect with art.
Taking place at Casa Latina, this event is designed as a celebration of creativity, identity, and the strength of the migrant community in Louisville. It will be an evening dedicated to art in all its forms — to see, to hear, to feel, and to experience together.
