Art.Beats: "A Sailing Voyage to Greenland" Photo Exhibition with Live Music

This 3 day long photo exhibition invites you to experience an epic Arctic sailing journey through analog photos accompanied by live music performances on Friday, February 21st and Saturday, February 22nd.

Through this exhibition, we’re inviting you to experience the beauty of emptiness — a mix of solitude, adventure, and connection — all through the lens of the Arctic and the people who explored it.

Shot on 35mm black-and-white and color film, these photos bring to life the breathtaking icebergs, the wild Arctic landscapes, and the small but meaningful moments shared on the journey.

These are glimpses through the unique lens of Alena Serada. The film and camera serve as tools, but it is Alena’s eyes — her perspective and emotions — that add a deeper layer of meaning to the scenes.

On the opening night, Friday, February 21st, we have prepared contemporary-style music featuring the authentic sounds of waves, wind, and nature recorded during our 3,700-nautical-mile sailing expedition to Greenland. These natural elements are artfully blended with electronic beats to create a unique and immersive experience.

The music transports you into the atmosphere of drifting among towering icy giants, fostering a serene and evocative connection to the pristine Arctic wilderness.

You will also have the opportunity to meet part of the crew from the expedition and ask them anything about their incredible sailing journey. We will conclude the evening with an atmospheric DJ set, rounding off this unforgettable Arctic-inspired experience.

The second night on Saturday, February 22nd will offer more traditional live music performances showcasing acoustic covers of popular songs.

Third day Sunday, February 23rd will be a photo exhibition without live music, open for visitors during the day.
