Explore sculpture making through playful experimentation in a welcoming space designed for creativity, connection, and community.
About this Event

Join us for a creative afternoon in partnership with Kentler International Drawing Space and teaching artist Toto for a hands-on art workshop inspired by playgrounds and the ways we move, build, and imagine in shared spaces.

Lines in Space: Sculpture with Wire, Fabric, and Paper invites families to explore sculpture through playful experimentation and creative problem-solving.

Families will learn how to shape and connect pipe cleaners and colorful wire to build open-structure sculptures inspired by playground forms and movement.

Using ribbon, fabric, and paper, artists will add texture and personality to their creations through threading, twisting, and layering techniques.

Sculptures can be attached to a clay base for display or designed to be held, carried, or hung — allowing each artist to decide how their work lives in space.

We’re also excited to welcome the Blue Hat team from Center for All Abilities, who will be joining us to serve a selection of hot and ice-cold beverages for families to enjoy throughout the program.

Come build, experiment, and reimagine playgrounds through art in a welcoming space designed for creativity, connection, and community.
