This is part of Abstractions , a series of workshops examining abstraction theory and methods of various artists.


Hilma af Klint: The Swan

Examination of Hilma af Klint’s The Swan in Paintings for the Temple.

You will:

  1. Learn about Hilma af Klint’s art career and works.
  2. Examine, analyze, and discuss The Swan.
  3. Exercise Hilma’s methods of automatic drawing and abstraction.
  4. Create an original drawing.
  5. Create an original painting.
  6. Help us test new learning experiences!

Special Guests:

  2. Artist Matthew Spire
  3. Artist Brittany Fanning
