Join Artinfusion’s art historian Sabine Casparie for a guided tour that nurtures both your wellbeing and your connection to art.
Art to Mind tours engage with art as a pathway to mental wellbeing. Through mindful looking and reflective discussion, they create space for deeper engagement, connection, and self-expression—an opportunity to slow down in today’s fast-paced world.
In this tour, we will engage deeper with art: by looking mindfully, sharing personal impressions and reflecting on major themes in contemporary art. This year’s Frieze Sculpture curated by Fatos Üstek sets the artworks against the backdrop of nature. It includes thirteen incredible works by both emerging and internationally known artists, all around the theme of ‘Shadows’ - which can be interpreted materially but also symbolically: the shadows of the turbulent times we live in.

Sabine Casparie: I worked as a lawyer before making a career change into art, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in art history at The Courtauld Institute of Art and a Masters in Modern and Contemporary Art at Christie's Education. Since then I have led contemporary art tours in London, in the classroom and on Zoom. I teach art history at Morley College and am a regular contributor to Studio International. Having been hospitalised for depression, and finding healing in art, it is my passion to look at artworks together to improve mental wellbeing.
