Art that Grows – Spring Ceramic Planter Party!
Location: Creative Haverhill, 43 Washington St, Downtown Haverhill, MA
Cost: $40
Capacity: Limited to 14 participants
Celebrate spring with an afternoon of creativity, color, and plants at Creative Haverhill’s 43 Washington Street gallery space!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will paint their own ceramic planter using acrylic paints and then create a small succulent arrangement to take home. Whether you lean bold and colorful or simple and earthy, this workshop is all about making something personal, playful, and alive.
Artist Denise Chesky will guide participants through the process while encouraging individual creativity and experimentation with color and pattern. No prior painting experience is needed, and all materials will be provided.
Participants will leave with:
One hand-painted ceramic planter with a succulent, as a unique piece of functional art that continues to grow over time
This workshop is designed for ages 15+ and is perfect for friends, date nights, creative self-care, or anyone looking for a fun spring art experience.
About the Instructor:
Denise Chesky creates dimensional, shadow box-style artworks that combine clay, wood, stone, glass, and layered materials into vibrant sculptural compositions. With a BFA from Montclair State University, her artistic practice explores color as both structure and emotion. Her bold use of color and texture creates miniature worlds filled with energy, contrast, and light.
