You are invited to the unveiling of "Fruition" at the Visalia Library!Visalia artist Richie Vipham was recently commissioned by Sound N Vision Foundation and the Tulare County Library to create a 21 ft. x 7.5 ft. permanent sculpture installation for the Visalia Branch Library.
The massive sculpture is comprised of hundreds of yards of ⅜ inch steel roundstock that goes under fire to be cut, bent, and welded. This painstaking process is done completely by hand.
The design, which has been titled “Fruition”, was derived from the paintings of his lifelong friend, Aaron V. Gomes.
Come enjoy refreshments at the sculpture-reveal art reception on Friday, November 7 (5:00-7:30 pm) at the Visalia Branch Library (200 W Oak Ave, Visalia).
