Anna Muccioli was recognized in the local Detroit art community as an artist of individuality and perception who saw everything around her as a possible medium of creative expression. She used oils, charcoals, pen and ink, acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, clay and bronze to bring her images to life.Anna Muccioli and her husband Joe spent significant effort in preserving and then obtaining a historic preservation designation for the studio location in the Chapoton House.
